With end of sales of Digital sets 9508's, we sold 9408's with Avaya IP Office 500V2-B and running Release 12.3.
Testing 9408 phone sets, I noticed problems with intermittent speakers (hands free), buzz noise on hands free. Also, another problem is when you adjust the ring volume and when you disconnect the 9408,the ring goes back to default (2 bars).
I found a PSN 929601u_Issue 2 about upgrade to Release 3.0
I checked one phone and I have Rel 01.29. (Prod ID:700520302).
Is there any work around to upgrade the firmware using Avaya IP Office 500V2-B unit?
