Partner 2 Auto Attendant a little ambitious

We recently lost power. When we came back the programming of entire Partner 2 system is gone.
I can deal with re-programming phones, but one thing I can't fix is how the phone system is answering incoming calls.
A person calls in, call rings ONCE on all phones (10), then a message comes on to the caller, "your call is being transferred to the receptionist", the music on hold plays for caller, then the receptionist console rings.
Driving me crazy how to fix it. What am I missing?
What we used to have was the phone would ring at the receptionist on all calls. now it rings once then she has to wait and it rings back at her after it gets transferred to her.

    Thanks,
    Rick

You need to determine your voicemail port extension numbers and assign them to Hunt Group .

Partner II probably means that the voicemail is Partner Mail VS, however it can be 2 or 4 ports, depending on the PCMCIA card that is installed in it.

And it also depends on which slot the Partner Mail VS is installed in, and what other modules are in your system, and in which order.

If the Partner Mail VS is in Slot 2, and is 2 ports, the extension ports are 20 and 21. If it is 4 ports, they are 18, 19, 20, and 21.

    Slot 4, 2 port, 26 and 27, 4 port 24, 25, 26, and 27

    Slot 5, 2 port is 32 and 33, 4 port 30, 31, 32, and 33.

If the voicemail is installed in an expansion cabinet, 1st slot is 38/39, or 36/37/38/39
Slot 2 in the expansion cabinet is 44/45 or 42/43/44/45

    Slot 3 is 50 and 51, or 48/49/50/51

    And slot 4 is 56 and 57, or 54/55/56/57

Now that you know which extension numbers are your voicemail ports, at Ext. 10 press Feature and dial 00, then press the left hand Intercom button twice.

Dial #505-7-(extension number)-1 for EACH extension number represented by your voicemail ports

    Feature 00 to quit.

This will stop the voicemail ports from grabbing incoming calls. There is still programming to do regarding voicemail coverage for individual mailboxes, lines to be answered after hours, etc., but start here.

Thank you so much! It worked!
I'm now beginning programming rest of system and voicemail.
I may need more help. Much appreciated.
