Barging into a call on a users phone? That's something you can do on the IP Office itself but you can't barge into a call on another vendors PBX unless you're talking about barging into a shared analog trunk.

Very unlikely. Certainly on IP Office there is no way (to my knowledge) for an external call to automatically barge into an IP Office users existing call. The call intrude functions need to know the intrusion rights of the intruder (ie. the intruder has to be an internal user on that system). Routing the external calls to an intrusion short code will not work.

The IP Office user can be made aware of the new call and choose to join it to their existing call. Anything else would require the caller to be a known remote IP Office user (ie. using something like mobile call control or one-X Communicator). They could then execute an intrude if they were configured for it.
