Analog extension or ports not working on BRI cards

IP Office 500 V2 Version 7.0 - I have 2 BRI combo cards with 2 analogue ports each. I can not get any analogue phone to work on any of the 4 ports. No dial tone and when the extensions are dialled it just rings.
    Any ideas

    I know it sounds stupid!

You are using Port 7 or Port 8 on the Combo Card?

It uses PIN 4/5 of the RJ45

Thanks. Actually yes. I should also add that I have 2 combo cards and none of the 2 analogue ports on each worked. I have another IP500V2 box running version 8.0 with combo cards too. The analogue phone am using to test worked fine in that on port 7&8.
I also took out the combo card from the version 8.0 box and tried it the version 7.0 box, the analogue port still doesn't work. There is not a lot to configure for analogue ports but I have checked that the configuration is the same for both boxes.
It seems the analogue ports have been disabled in the version 7.0 box. Is this possible using some sort of Short Code or jumper settings on the mainboard? I thought the analogue ports always work no matter what and doesn't need a separate license
