    Configuration error

I have three sites. Each with an IP500 V2. Georgetown, San Antonio and Waco.

In the IP Office System Status each site has the following configuration error: There is a conflict with Small Community network dial plan numbers received from x.x.x.x, x.x.x.x.

The two IP addresses at each site are the IP address of each remote site's IP500 V2 appliance.

Any help would be much appreciated.

In SSA, expand Resources, click on Directory, click on Conflicts, find out what it's complaining about, and make your changes accordingly.

      Conficting Entries

Thank you. When I go to Conflicts I see a table with three rows and 5 columns.

      1st Row:
      Number:803; Prevailing entry:Local; Type:User; Conflicting entry:From 172.10.180.205; Type: User
      2nd Row:
      Number: 279; Prevailing entry:From 172.10.180.205; Type:User; Conflicting entry:From 172.10.10.205; Type: User
      3rd Row: Number: 321; Prevailing entry:From 172.10.10.205; Type:User; Conflicting entry:From 172.10.180.205; Type: User

I really don't know where to go to fix this conflict. Are the numbers extensions? Obviously I'm very new to this so please be patient. Thanks.

With a Small Community Network of systems, the requirement is not to have any repeated extension numbers (whether assigned to users or hunt group). So for example only one system in the network can have an extension 200.

What System Status is telling you is that you have users with extension numbers 803, 279 and 321 on more than one system.

However, System Status is only a monitoring tool. You need to use IP Office Manager to access the system configurations and renumber those users (from what I see you could do it all by renumbering 803, 279 and 321 on the system with IP address 172.10.180.205).

OK, I've figured out that there are duplicate usernames on each of the sites. Weird how the IP Manager allows you to create the duplicated account name with a different extension to begin with.

          Thanks for your help,

          George
