Extension out of the main site.

Good morning everybody, could it be possible to connect some extensions that are not located on the main site to make them work on the ip office. Here is >>
The IP Office is on the main site, with some existing extensions but the customer also has another building located from approximatively 1000 feet, so he wants to place some ip phones as some extensions that are registered on the IP Office system phone, and allow users on the main site communicate easily with the users located on the another site, this customer doesn't want to install two IP Office system phone. But with the only system he wants just extend some ip phones on the second site. Thanks, any idea would be much appreciated .

If there's network connectivity between buildings that is sound enough to support VoIP, there should be no problem doing this.

Ok thank you, could you provide me these different steps please, each building has the following configuration :

Ok the first site has an router IP 192.168.5.1 as a default gateway and the ip range(192.168.5.3 - 192.168.5.40/24) are the address network. The second site has an router 192.168.5.2 as a default gateway and the range (192.168.5.41 - 192.168.5.60/24)are the address network. These two buildings offer the same service,on the first site Avaya IP PBX has been installed with the static ip 192.168.5.10 that deliver DHCP address for 10 IP Phones and we want now to install an additional 7 IP Phones on the second site to allow users on the first site communicate with users on the second site through the Avaya IP PBX that has been installed on the first site, these two bulding are located to 2000 feet,we are not going to use a fiber cable to connect these two site. So to interconnect the two sites together this is why i m looking for. Any idea woulb much appreciated.
      Thank you very much !

If this is one large layer 2 network then plug in the phones and they'll connect to the IP Office, otherwise your network won't work since the phones will never use the default gateway to reach an IP address on the same subnet. Every devices is on 192.168.5.0 (since they're both a /24) so they will try to communicate directly to each other rather than ever using the router.
