Create mst file for AvayaOneXdesktop Client

I am trying to upgrade our current Avaya One-X desktop software, since we upgraded from 9.0.4 to 9.0.6. I want to deploy the software also for new computers, via GP, but I would love to have the MSI file with an MST file that would add the settings for new computers (such as server and ports).
I have looked at documentation and have found how to extract the MSI file from the .exe, and even how to do a silent .exe install and upgrade, but was hoping to do it via MSI since I cant push this via GP, as opposed to a manual scrip install.
Has anyone had any luck doing this? or am I just hoping too much to find how to create an MST file?
