    Phone Manager Download

    Attempted to install the provided Phone Manager software on Windows 7 64 bit and fails. Looks to be an older installation package and googling indicates a newer version should work.

    Except for the life of me I cannot find any downloads what so ever for Phone Manager on the Avaya website.

    What am I missing? I am the clients IT Support and thus have responsibility apparantly to maintain the phone system - so don't give me "go to your reseller blah blah" ****.

    Like you go to the Avaya site and there's all this BS and flashy **** and "we won these awards" and more BS... But nothing you actually need to do your job. What a waste of space. Just put a huge downloads button and list the things people actually need to download... Not make me somehow find out the model and drill through pages of BS I don't need or want to not find anywhere a download for PHONE MANAGER.

    Wasted 2 hours on this BS already just give me a link and fix your website guys.

    Whilst I understand you frustration with the support.avaya.com site, it is dreadful, being rude and abusive is not the way to get help.

    What version of IP Office Phone Manager software have you been trying to install?

    How does the install fail?

    What version of IP Office system do you have? IP Office Phone Manager is only supported up to IP Office Release 8.1.

      From what I've seen, the Avaya websites are generally a nightmare, especially when you're looking for an installer. Save yourself the trouble and just bookmark this page - http://ipofficeinfo.com/ there's a link there to the latest version of Phone Manager.

      From the support website I think you would need to download the User CD for the version of IP Office you're trying to connect to, and on that CD might be the Phone Manager software. Eventually dealing with IP Office enough you begin to learn where things are but for someone just starting out it can be a real headache.

        Support for Phone Manager ended in March 2013

        The software was included in the User CD, later versions would not include Phone Manager due to it not being supported.

        I have made available an older version of the User CD for you, this is a temporary download and will be removed in 2 weeks so please download ASAP.

        The user CD is available by clicking the following link;
        ftp://BP_Files:[email protected]/USER4_2_47.exe [approx. 122MB]

        Phone Manager has limited Operating System support, the following link shows Windows XP Pro and Windows Vista [depends on mode] only;

        Update 2 June: The file has now been deleted, if required please contact Avaya support.
