Avaya communicator freezes on loading contacts

    Hi all.

I have Avaya Communicator for Windows release 2.0.2.25 connected to IP office R9.1.0.0 build 437 SP1 which keeps getting stuck on loading contacts and doesn't load any.
    Contact source is IP Office.
How do I solve this issue?

It may have a window in your outlook to ask for permission to allow access. After click yes it will go through.

I do have Outlook but I don't see anywhere in Outlook where I am suppose to permit/allow communicator to load contacts.
      More information please.

Would like to add that I have Use Microsoft Outlook contacts - unchecked
        in the communicator settings.

              Thanks for the reply..

I dont see that version available for download...

Ive got either 2.0.2.25 or 2.1.2.75

Both of which dont work for me at all :-(

Can you point me in the direction of 2.0.3.30?

                    Still problems unfortunately...

It works on a lab setup... but on the live setup it just rolls with loading contacts

Have upgraded the ipoffice and the one-x to latest 9.0.x release...

On a plain setup in the lab it works without issue..

Is there any specific settings worth looking at on the ipo config?

Make sure your PC has the latest update if Windows. That is a must for it to work.
                      Please update Windows.
