Hi guys,
I've been noticing a strange issue with my 500v2 units that are installed as part of a Server Edition installation. At some point during configuration, the majority of changes that I make no longer take effect until a reboot. For example, if I change an extension on a specific port, reset a users voicemail password, make a name change on a user, or even delete the user account, those changes save, but they do not become active. The best way I can describe it is just like if you were to make a change to a Cisco startup configuration. The change is saved, but will not become active until reboot and it loads the startup config into the running config. After a reboot, everything functions normally again, where merging changes take effect immediately.
I suspect this is being caused by a change that I make that would normally require a reboot, but Manager is telling me it is a merge. I can confirm that I am not changing it from a reboot to a merge, then saving it. I suspect it is when I change a port from Standard Telephone to Fax.
