Avaya IP Office - Embedded voice mail , not transferring calls

    Hi ,

Avaya IP Office - Embedded voice mail ,auto attendant not transferring calls , calls die down after completing AA message . I programmed like press 1 for ext-301 , press 2 for ext-302 etc , and programmed accordingly . I have direct dial-by-number option as well . When a caller press 1 or 2 no effect .

    hi,

    1. Mention the IPO release you have.
    2. If you have enabled Direct Dial-by number use DialByNumber in the "Actions" Tab Action value for corresponding Key.
    3. If you are using one touch destination, set Transfer in the "Actions" Tab Action value for corresponding Key. and set your destination extension number too.

Try it and revert with update..
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mari

If you want to use "Direct Dial-By-Number", then you would set option 3 to set to Dial by Number and callers prompted to "...just dial the extension you require". (caller dials 301 and gets 301)

To do that without "Direct Dial-By-Number" selected the callers need to be prompted to 'dial 3 followed by the extension number' (eg. caller dials 3301).

If you want 'dial 1 for 302, 2 for 302', then set option 1 to Normal Transfer with destination set to 301, option 2 to Normal Transfer with destination set to 302, etc. (eg. calls dial 1).

You should to check with a trace if the DTMF tones is well. With the option Direct Dial-By-Number is enough.

Let us to know the state of this issue.

Rebuild the SD card and make sure the voice files for embedded VM are copied as well
