Hi,

Currently I have set an out of service button on our main number handset so that the user can press the button to set Out of Hours on / off and Out of hours has Unconditional FWD set to a mobile number, what I would like to know is there a way to allow this use to change the Out of hours FWD number from there own phone buttons? I cant find a way to set the button to change the FWD number for another user as we use a Fake user as the FWD user within the out of hours hunt group.

Is there anyway to set a button to change the unconditional FWD of another user?

Yes, sort of...
Create shortcodes:
SC = #XXX, TN = N*N, Action = Logon, LineID = 0
Create a button as Dial, number = #123 were 123 is the phonenumber of the fake user AND 123 is the logon code of that user
Then program the some buttons on the fake user as a Forward number or create one were the customer can enter the number interactive and create a logoff button.
It cant be done with less actions unless you have VM Pro

Thanks for the reply, would logging on a handset as the FWD user and then changing the forwarding number achieve the same thing?
