    SCN over open internet

    hello all,
Just given a new install. Two IPO, different locations. They want them networked together(SCN). No MPLS or dedicated circuit. What they have are two different internet circuits at each location being used for sip trunking. My question is, can I get these two locations networked using the open internet?
Thanks in advance for any input.

Yes, it CAN be done. Are they using the SCN for inter extension dialing or do they plan on using a circuit at one site as the primary circuit and have all voice calls travel through the SCN?

Your best bet would be building a point to point VPN connection between the two sites and build the SCN over that. If you're sharing the bandwidth for data as well you might have call quality issues over the SCN depending on how much bandwidth is used regularly versus how much bandwidth you have available.

Reply How about new Node LSP Site MPLS Circuit total VOIP or 10 Meg for Voip and 10 Digit sending or getting 10 digit DID'S and dialing out while other Nodes and Main Node Current PRI'S 4 Digits with ARS and AAR Tables set how well will this work and how much reconfigurations will be required any Answers are welcome and suggestion
I told them just make new site PRi's until ready to move all sites to this solution
