prerecorded greetings in IP Office

I am trying to use prerecorded messages for two auto attendants and on hold music in an IP Office 9.1.4 Essential Edition Embedded Voicemail System.
I have the prerecorded greetings, and used the (File, Advanced) LVM Greeting Utility to convert the two auto attendant greetings. I have finally gotten the utility to work, and the files have been converted to the correct format. I then upload them (File, Advanced) Embedded File Management, log in to the system, choose, System SD, System, Dynamic, LV Mail, AAG, right click, upload and chose the file, one at a time. Both files show in the folder, each with its own name. I then go back to the configuration, go to the first autoattendant, and chose the first file. I only see one file name. I go to the second autoattendant, and still see only the first file name in the dropdown. How do I get another recorded greeting to show on the system? And I haven't even gotten to try the on hold message yet!

After uploading the files you must disable and re-enable the SD card in system status.
Then the files will be loaded, After that process relaod the config and the filenames should be there.

Just type in the name in the drop down box, instead of relying on them to already be there. Works every time.

Also a hint. Keep the name of the files the same as the auto attendant. So if I create an AA and call it menuDay, I will make by converted file menuDay.c11 and name the recording menuDay as well. Then just type menuDay in the drop down box for the *84xx recording

I apologize for not getting back to thank all of you for your help. Typing in the name on the Auto Attendant worked for this system.

I am now having new issues with another system, also IP Office 9.1.4 Embedded Voicemail, also trying to use a prerecorded message. I followed the same procedure as before, converting the file, uploading it, changing the AA to point to the file name. All I get is dead air instead of the greeting. Is there something else I need to change? I did:
File
Advanced
Embedded File Management
selected system and logged in
Click on System SD, click on System, click on Dynamic, click on LVMAIL, click on AAG.
Right click on center column, Files, choose UPLOAD, navigate to my file with the .g711 extension.
I get file complete, and close the box.
I exit file management, and go back to the configuration, log in again.
I go to Auto Attendant (there is only one on this system) take the check off enable local recording and change menu options recording name to the same name as the file I uploaded without the file extension.
I click ok, save, merge.
I wait 5 minutes and test. I get dead air.
Does anyone know what I've missed?

As you've seen in the other forum that you posted this to, the guy that converted the file for you did not name it what you think he named it.

Do the conversion yourself. Download "Audacity", set the Project Rate to 8000 Hz, import the original wav file, and convert it so that you KNOW what it is called.

Then you will be able to upload and enable just fine.

It looks like the original file conversion didn't happen properly. I had used sound recorder, but it didn't change something. I went back to my original file, used AVS4U software to convert it, also had to use a different computer (mine is XP, LVM Utilities doesn't work on XP) used a Windows 10 laptop to do the LVM Utility, then upload the file. Rebooted, since I can't stand waiting 5 minutes to see if something worked, and voila, all set!

Hi, I tried the same method and it is not working for me. After converting the wav file through AVS Editor, it is not converting to c11 format. Any idea why it is not working?
