    VMPro all fields greyed out

    Hello,

I am extremely confused; I do not know what to do to get it working again. Last time (several month ago) I logged to that VMPro (IPO Server Edition, running on Avaya HW Server) and I was able to work with it. In the meantime we updated from 8.1 to 9.1. Now I have the following issue, when I start the VMPro Client to do change sot the Mailboxes, Modules, Variables or System Settings, all fields are greyed out. Within the modules I not at all able to double click to change settings within a module, neither add something to a module. I already restarted the VMPro Service, but it did not change the behavior.

For me it seems that the DB of the VMPro is somewhere in locking mode or similar, like in the past with some databases. Maybe it is rights problem to service user, but I am using the Administrator Login. Did someone of you encounter such a problem?
    Any help appreciated.

    Regards,

    Lothar

Use IP Office Manager to check the security settings of the Rights Groups to which the Administrator user belongs. Make sure that on the External tab, only VMPro Administrator is selected. If either VMPro Standard or VMPro Basic is also selected you get the lowest one applied when you login, not the highest.

Just to complete the story, I had recently the same issue instead with a server edition with an UCM Module V2. The trick here was resetting the security settings to default and rebooting the UCM module.
