Conference Call Question

I have a customer that will place two callers into a conference and then hang up their own phone so that the two other parties can continue to talk in the conference. They get a ringback tone every few seconds like the one for on-hold calls. They want to eliminate this tone so that it doesn't ring them back while the other parties are in the conference call. My only suggestion was to extend the time for ringback.

Does anybody have any other solutions to this? Thanks.

Thanks, but what's going on is that the customer will receive one call and then make a second call to another party. Then they put both calls into a conference and hang up their phone while the other two parties continue speaking. While the conference is going on, the customer's phone will give the "call on hold" ringback letting them know that a call is on hold. That's what they are trying to eliminate.

What you are doing is a manual conference.
What the others are talking about is meet-me conference.

In your case, you have two options to check.
1. Telephony | Telephony | Drop External Only Impromptu Conference
2. Telephony | Tones and Music | Conferencing Tone

I bet, the first one is correct, but the second one is set to Repeating Tone. Change that to Entry & Exit Tones
