I've looked around and haven't seen a post that addresses my question, hopefully it isn't something so basic I should've figured it out--if so, sorry.
I've setup IPO 5v2 (v9.1.7) at a client. Like most places, extensions have to dial 9 to get an outside line. They have a PRI and the majority of their handsets are 9611g's. Their IPO has 2 analog station ports that will connect to a fax machine and a Pitney Bowes postage machine. They'd like to have it set so these 2 lines (ext 207 & 208) don't have to dial 9, they're just outside lines. They're also thinking about setting up a couple of guest phones that also just connect to the outside.
What's the best way of exempting the analog lines and any future H323 lines from dialing 9? Something in ARS? For some reason I'm just not seeing it. Thanks for any help.
