    Sip Trunk - Incoming calls fail

    Dear,
    I have installed in a IP Office 500 Release 9.0 with a SIP trunk like with 50 channels. It has to be registered with an username and a password.
    The service's supplier asks as a requirement to the outgoing calls that the "From" field of the SIP URI sends the ID's username.

    Settings for the outgoing calls:
    SIP LINE --> SIP URI --> LOCAL URI: Use Credential Authentication Name
    SIP LINE --> SIP URI --> REGISTRATION: 1: Credential Authentication Name

    With this settings the outgoing calls are out with no problem.

    The problem is in the incoming calls. When an incoming calls enters from the trunk line SIP in the traces, the screen shows the error 404 Not Found. The supplier sends the caller ID (12345678).

    Settings for incoming calls:
    USER --> SIP --> SIP NAME: 12345678
    USER --> SIP --> SIP DISPLAY NAME: PRUEBA
    USER --> SIP --> SIP CONTACT: 12345678
    ICR --> STANDAR --> LINE GROUP ID: 17
    ICR --> STANDAR --> INCOMING NUMBER: 12345678
    ICR --> DESTINATION: 5678 (PRUEBA)

    Could somebody help me with this problem that I've got?

    Thank you very much for your help

    Hello,

    I would suggest create a second URI with an asterisk (*) in every field with a new incoming group number. The * will match any dialled number.

    Local Uri *
    Contact *
    Display Name “
    Registration “None”
    In Group 10 (Example)
    Out Group 10 (Example)
    Max Sessions 10 (Example)

          Would it possible that you post a SIP trace here for the incoming call and that you post me your incoming call routes

            Do you have a separate SIP URI channel configured for inbound calls? I don't believe this is needed anymore.

            If you have configured the User's SIP tab then you should be using SIP LINE --> SIP URI --> "Use Internal Data" for all 4 settings.

            If the inbound calls are directed to a group, the group will also need the SIP tab configured.

            Hope that helps.

              I would always work with multiple URI's it makes live easier for inbound routing.

                @rodri332,

                if you can provide a incoming sip trunk trace this would be much appreciated to support your request.

                  Rodri332, can you post a screenshot of your URI options and your incoming call routes?

                  The 404 error means there is no matching URI on the IP Office, which means you have something in your URI or incoming call route settings misconfigured. You should have one URI that has * for all the fields, and then you can build an incoming call route for the number (and for any calls on the SIP trunk) rather than relying on the SIP tab for every single user.
