Forward Hunt Group to External Numbers

We have the Avaya system with IP Office, 9608G phones, etc. coming in on a PRI.

We have a main hunt group that 5 of our CSR's hear and answer. After hours we have a Fwd Dispatch button that sets the Hunt Group out of service and the out of service destination is a short code that dials our off-site dispatch service external phone number.

At times, our off-site dispatch service can't handle our calls so our local personnel want to Disable the Fwd Dispatch button, but want to disable the hunt group and have the calls forwarded to their cell phone so they can go home, etc.

AT&T did not move our call forwarding to our new circuit and it is now a 2 week wait to have the Enhanced Features added so we're needing a solution fairly quick.

Our dispatchers change weekly as do the phone numbers required to be forwarded to, so we need to have at least 4 different numbers to be added depending on who is on call that week.

Is this even possible without call forwarding?

I'm new to IP Office, and learning my way but we have a 3rd party managing our system but we need to move faster than they are currently moving. TIA.

Give them a "Set Night Service Destination" button on their phones.

Thanks for your reply. How would I address the destination needing to be forwarded to their cell phone based on who's on call for that week.

Each week the person on call changes, so having a static number won't work and will need the option of entering various numbers.

If I set the Night Service Destination to one of their cell phones I would have to manually update that weekly?

The button allows them to set the number. For example whoever is on call that week can set the destination to their external number or to their own internal extension assuming that they set that to forward group calls to themselves outside work hours. Simple and flexible.

Thank you very much. I was able to create a button to set the night service on/off and then the button you mention above to set the night service destination. Worked as you mentioned and well for what we're trying to accomplish.

          Thanks again!
