We had our system installed on 1-18-17. We found out today by accident that when one line is in use it is not locked out so others cannot pick up on the line and listen in. Not a good thing at a church. Why don't the lines lock out? We have the 1408 phones and IP Office Intuity.

For a system installed less than two week ago go back to the installer.
Otherwise we're going to have to ask a lot more about how the system was configured or else make guesses (it's unfortunately a flexible system so the same fault/solution can come about in several ways). As it is, the most likely answer is to enable the "Cannot be intruded" option on some user's (though that's normally on by default so it would beg the question why did it get switched off)..
