Hello I was wondering if a Partner MLS-18D phone would work on a Avaya IP Office R9? We have a customer that is wondering if he can use the phones he has or has to get new ones. Thanks

Only if you run it in Partner mode, which is "not so good", and should be avoided. (and I'm pretty sure that the MLS series are not supported, but will probably work)
Run the system in Standard mode, Essential license, Embedded Voicemail if they are trying to save money, and 1408 or 1416 telephone sets
