I have two B179 Conference phones.
I want to give them static Ip's. However when I go into the phone via the ip of the phone and then go into settings/network and give it a static IP it does not work.
It reboots etc.But it does not show up in the Avaya status monitor.
When I try to dial a phone it says "SIP Stack Error"
I then delete the extension and set up again with dynamic DHCP on phone through web it comes back and works fine. Why cant I give it a static IP?
