IP Office :- hide calling number on phone

Hi Team,


We have a customer query that they require to hide or mask the dialed (external outgoing) number from phone screen so that the caller doesn’t figure the telephone number of the person they are calling. The call is invoked to the extension by a third party application through TAPI.

Please let us know if you have any solution.



The system is AVAYA IP OFFICE Server edition version 9.0

Phones: 16XX and 96XX

Trunk: PRI E1

Black electrical tape over the LCD display is the only thing that is going to make the outgoing number not show up on the display!
