How to connect IP office server?

In our remote small office we have the IP office 500 V2, but we don't know the IP address, I tried the IP office R5 manager(in other location) to discovery the sub network, but it doesn't find the server IP address.

And we don't have anyone could plug in to the IP officer server LAN port to find IP address.

Any other idea could find the Server IP address?

    Thanks,

    Edward

If you have IP Phones at the location you can view the network configuration via the Options on the phone set itself. That should tell you what the call server IP address is.

Otherwise, you can use the other Administration port on the back of the control unit. Hopefully it still has the default IP address; which is 192.168.42.1 (Lan) 192.168.43.1 (Wan) port. Remember to give your Administration PC a static IP address in the same subnet in order to ping the control unit. (i.e. 192.168.43.6)

Sorry but your starting point is always going to have to be on the same network*.

If you don't trust anyone to run IP Office Manager from a PC on the same LAN as the IP Office, give them Phone Manager or SoftConsole instead. All those app are able to scan the local network and show details of any IP Office system present.

(*Yyes, you could use a DTE cable connection but since that requires physical access to the system it easy to just try local LAN detection of the system first).
