    BCM450R6 with SIP gateway to BCM50R6

    Internal IP gateway calls between the 2 sites are no problem. If a public call comes into the BCM450R6 on PRI trunks and is transferred to the BCM50R5 over the SIP gateway the phone connected to the BCM50 will ring, but no talk path will be created.

    Both BCMs have been fully patched.

    Hi,

    This is not just a simple query as there are two systems involve in the issue reported. The trouble shooting has to be done to locate the issue. As per the problem description is looks that the phone is ringing if call from bcm450 to bcm50 via PRI trunk but call is one way speech , then it could be an issue of codec mismatch otherwise the logs has to be collected and then the troubleshooting has to be done.

    It is recommended to check the selected codec and try to make them same (if both the codecs are different) and then test the call scenario.

    Otherwise open a ticket to look into it.
