Need Explanation of all the passwords when setting up a user

It has been a long time since I have setup and IP Office system. I have version 11.0 and I am creating new users with auto create H323 extension and Auto create users checked. I am confused on the password settings for the user, the extension and the supervisor tab password settings.

Any good explanation would be gratefully appreciated.

User > User Tab > Password: Used for One-X portal, One-X Mobile, SoftConsole

User > Telephony Tab > Supervisor Settings Tab > Login Code: Used for Hot Desking

Extension > Extension Tab > Phone Password: Used for initial login of the extension, setting the base extension number on the set
