Hi Experts,

PCN1886Hu issued on 9/24/2012 says The G450 HW V2B gateways with 256 MB memory module may experience resets while in service. The material codes below:
700407802 – G450 MP80 W/ POWER SUPPLY
700459456 – G450 MP80 W/ POWER SUPPLY NON GSA
Description:
The field has recently reported a very small percentage of G450s with HW V2B and 256 MB memory modules experiencing resets. Avaya has determined that the root cause of this issue is due to corrupt data, bit errors.

Type : 256MB DDR SDRAM memory module with ECC support
Manufacture Part Num : SG572328AVA27BG1SJ

This PCN is not clear about the PCN impact and its process.

Q1. Shall we replace the 256 Memory module only if manufacture part number matches with Manufacture Part Num : SG572328AVA27BG1SJ,a prefix of SG or suffix of SJ or SN. or submit G450 GW as PCN replacement?

Only if the 256 memory module manufacture's part number matches SG572328AVA27BG1SJ with a prefix of SG and a suffix of SJ or SN, then only the memory module is replaced under this PCN. There is nothing wrong with the G450.
