How Remote control DND and CFW

I'm exploring how we can remotely control the Avaya J169 unit, enabling features like DND (Do Not Disturb) and CFW (Call Forwarding)?

The answer is "yes, you can". But the rest of the answer depends on what type of communication system the J169 phone is connected to, and who wants to do the 'controlling' (the phone user or alternatively a supervisor). The answers to those will narrow down the set of applications, SDKs, API, etc., that could be used.
