I have 2 2004p2 Ip phones. The CSR report that there is no beep when they have a call coming in. what could be the problem

The problem description was very generic.
Depending on the system type CS1000M/E Conf/TDS cards or MGCs provide Dial tone/ringback and basic tones.
If it was working and suddenly stopped working ,could be a fault with Hardware otherwise we should take a look at conf/tone loops configuration,tone table in ld 56 config and such.
