I have a Sondstation 2 Polycom for Avaya that is compatible with a DEFINITY system. The station is plugged into a digital line (PBX) and has been working correctly for 6 months. A user disconnected the phone from its station and plugged it into a digital port on the wall directly. After the unit was plugged back into the base station the system would not hang up a call in the normal way using the phone or cancel button. To terminate a call it is necessary to unplug the station from it's base and plug it back in after a few seconds. I tried disconnecting the phone from its extension using the key codes and then re-connecting, but that didn't fix this issue. I tried disconnecting the phone from its extension via the DEFINITY console and then re-connecting, and that did not work either.
