USB Companion Tool - encription question

Using the USB tool, I know it gives you the option to encrypt your password. Does anyone know if the contacts that you import to the USB drive can be encrypted as well? If so how?

The concern we have is not having the contacts on the USB drive encripted in the event the drive is lost or stolen.
