    9650 received from factory as SIP don't load H.323 firmware when SIG=1

    New 9650 IP phones are often delivered with SIP firmware. We need them in H.323 mode, so when connected for the first time to the customer the LAN, the 9650 receive the initialization params from the DHCP server. In our case, we have added the SIG=1 string in OPTION 242 to make sure that if a phone comes up in SIP, it will reboot and try to load H.323 firmware instead. This does not happen however and the people on site have to manually go into craft menu and change SIG for each 9650. What do we have to do to make this automatic? Here is our initialization string:
    MCIPADD=10.120.193.10,10.120.194.10,10.120.203.10, MCPORT=1719,HTTPSRVR=10.120.203.7,HTTPDIR=/,VLANTEST=60,SIG=1,L2Q=1
    Thanks in advance!

    Every 9650 is shipped from the factory with H.323 software on it. If you are receiving a "new" 9650 with SIP software on it, then it is actually used.
