I'm hoping someone can help me.
Our company is running Avaya IP Office 500 v2 Version 7(5).
We have started slowly migrating all users to Avaya IP 1220 phones, and have for the most part been completely happy with the functionality. All of the phones are running FW v4.1.13, which is (as far as we can discern) is the latest FW that will work with v7 of IP OFFICE 500 v2.
All of the documentation for the Avaya IP 1220 phone indicate that it has a web interface to allow configuration of the phone. All you should need to do is navigate to the IP address using a browser and "voila", its there.
To be blunt, we just don't see it. We have spent countless hours looking through documentation to see if the web interface is "disabled" somehow. We can connect to the phones via SSH, but would prefer the web interface.
Are we missing something?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Tony
