I have a 1140e that one of my tech's is trying to connect to thwe CS1K system and after setting the the S1 And S2 IP address the Phone constinatly is attempting to do a FW update and keeps bouncing from one IP of the System to another trying to find the FW update. what area on the phone should I look to stop this from happenning and allow the phone to register?

At this point you might be best served by doing a renew on the set (**renew[MAC of the set}##)
If the IP's of S1 and S2 were entered correctly by the technician you should look into why the set cannot contact those addresses and retrieve the firmware update.It is quite likely that you would need someone with network expertise to resolve such an issue.
