    9611G and goto cover button.

    Hello All,
I have a problem using the 9611G phones that I have not been able to find an answer to. When using the goto cover button while transferring a call, the transfer can not be completed. Example:
A calls B, B answers and hits "transfer" and dials extension of C, hits the "complete" soft button and transfer completes. Works fine.
    However if:
A calls B, B answers and hits "transfer" then dials extension of C then hits their goto cover button, the "complete" button is no longer there and the transfer can not be completed.
This is not a problem with the 8400 digital phones, only the 9611G. I'm thinking that this feature is just not going to work on the IP phones the way that it does on the digitals. Any ideas?
    Thanks

An Upgrade Worked for Us ... So far!

We had a similar issue. The answer was to upgrade to CM 5.02.1 last week. So far, So good.

      Thanks Bill

We are going to upgrade in a couple of weeks at our site so we'll wait to see what happens.
      Thanks again,

CM 5.02 Upgrade ws Not the Solution

We have discovered that this is more of an issue that we were first told. The upgrade to 5.02 did not solve the issue. This remains an intermittent issue. We are currently working with Avaya on diagnostics. I will post a solution when found.
