Telephono IP Avaya 9641G

I have the following question: I was reviewing the technical specifications of Avaya IP telephone 9641G and within specifications is the following list of supported codecs (G.711, G.726, G.729A / B G.722 (G.726 is not available in SIP)) ..

My question is: I can somehow add another codec ?? iLBC codec would like to add

Adding a codec can only be done by Ayaya via new software.
