I have a question about swapping extensions on IP phones using the ASA tool. I had a request to swap extensions on two IP phones because a new person had started and needed to have the 9650 phone in order to cover the bridge appearance lines. The other person moved to a desk with a 9620 and need to keep her extension. We have no more 9650 to configure.
Is it possible to swap extensions using the ASA tool? If not what is out to do this with? What I ending up doing is reconfiguring the phones and then going to each and logging them out and then back in with the correct extension. Any help is appreciated
