Analog 2500 Type to 9608G in a Ring Down

I am attempting to use an analog station that has been left in place after the 6408D+ stations were replaced with 9608G IP Telephones.

The Coverage Answer Group no longer seems to work.

Is it possible to use this analog station to perform this work or should that station also be swapped out with an 9608G or 9611G?
