Body

Starting from CCE 6.3.1 we have introduced a way to disable chrome extension without uninstalling CCE.

The user needs to launch cmd prompt as administrator.
Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\Client Applications\Collaboration Services\Extension\chrome"

To uninstall/disable the extension run "UninstallChromeExtension.bat"
To install/enable run "InstallChromeExtension.bat"

For some reason the .bat does not do the job for me, but the .reg works well, so if they want to REMOVE it (without uninstalling the CCE itself) they can do it from here, using the remove or add .reg file

UPDATE:

There is an additional registry entry that has been added, if the batch file does not remove the integration, then the RemoveChromeEstension.reg needs to be modified as follows:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallForcelist]
"1"=-

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallSources]
"2"=-

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallSources]
"1"=-
