Blocking Incoming calls to a User
Blocking incoming calls to a User Device used for Paging
1. Login to service.Cloudoffice.avaya.com
2. Select Users \ User Lists \ User with Extension and search and select for desired user.
3. Select Screening, Greetings and Hold Music \ Blocked Calls
**There are two options to Blocking Incoming Calls - "All Calls " and " Specify calls and faxes."
4 a) " All Calls " provides the ability to block incoming calls except those that you specify in the Allowed numbers and Area codes list.
Examples of numbers to be blocked: 613 123 4567, 343 Area Code , Any user that starts with 4 , Any User 34xx , Specific user 5001.
b) to block a desired number(s) add entry to the "Allowed numbers or area codes and select add. Each entry will require to be added individually,
>adding 613 123 4567 - enter 6131234567 to Allowed numbers or area codes and select add
>adding area code 343 - enter 343 to Allowed numbers or area codes and select add (*after you click add the system shows 1343 indicating area code)
>adding user starting with 4 - enter +4 to Allowed numbers or area codes and select add
>adding user starting with 34 - enter +34 to Allowed numbers or area codes and select add
>adding user specific 5001 - enter +5001 to Allowed numbers or area codes and select add.
c) You can Edit the recordings that Callers will hear "I'm sorry. The number you have dialed can not be reached from your Calling Area. Goodbye" or "Hello the mailbox is full. Thank you for calling , Goodbye."
d) You can check "Enable block calls from pay phones" and set recording to "I'm sorry. The number you have dialed can not be reached from your Calling Area. Goodbye" or "Hello the mailbox is full. Thank you for calling , Goodbye."
e) When the desired entries are added click save. See Sample below.
5 a) " Specify calls and faxes" provides the ability to allow internal calls except those that you specify in the Block list
