This article provides information on how to set a nickname for your company phone number for easy identification within the account.
How to set the Company Phone Number Name or Label
1. Log in to your Avaya Online Account as an Administrator.
2. Click Phone System > Phone Numbers > All Numbers. Click on the phone number you want to modify.
3. Enter the preferred name or label in the space provided and then click Save.

Once set, the name will be displayed when setting the Outbound Caller ID, Advanced Call Handling rules, Label filtering for Company report under Analytics (This can take up to 4 hours to be reflected at reports) or changing Phone Numbers. This allows easy number identification for the account Administrator as well as for the Users when configuring their settings.
NOTE: Changing the Phone Number Name or Label will not be available if the number is already assigned to an extension. To resolve this:
1. Assign the number as an Auto-Receptionist/Company number.
2. Re-assign the number back to the intended Extension after the name has been set.
