This article provides instructions on how administrators can configure and manage a Group Call Pickup. A Group Call Pickup allows a Group of users to be configured. If a user A within that group gets a call, the other members of the same Call Pickup Group can be alerted after x seconds and can answer this call should user A not answer a call.
Available in Premium and Ulimate Packages.
Configuration
1. Login to http://service.cloudoffice.avaya.com wit Phone Administration Rights
2. Select
Phone System \ Groups \ Call Pickup \ Group Pickup tab
3. click
+ New Group Call Pickup
4. Enter
Group Name,
Site and
Alert Timer by default set to 10 seconds. Click
Next
5. Enter the
Members of the Group. Click
Save
6. A Pop Up "
Group Call Pickup Phone Key
Group Call Pickup is created.
Do you want to add the Group Pickup key to the member Phones Automatically.
The Feature key will be added to the next configuration Presence line ( for each group Member Phones)."
7.a Answer Yes and configuration is complete.
7.b Answer No will receive message "
To enable this Group Call Pickup on your selected users phones, please go to User list, select the user and Configure the Group Call Pickup in Phones & Numbers > Phones > Presence > Appearence " click

Operation :
User A, User B and User C are members of this group.
User gets a Phone call and will ring User A phone for 10 seconds
At the the 10 Second mark User B and User C phones will start to ring
All 3 users will ring for the duration configured in the
Call Handling & Forwarding of User A or until one of the user pick up the call.
If No user answers the call , the call will follow Users A
Call Handling & Forwarding - typically going to
Messages.
Availability
The Gorup Call Pickup is available with Avaya Cloud Office J100 series phones and the Avaya Cloud Office Phone application ( 21.2.1.42167).

Performance
The maximum number of members per group: 25 members per Group Pickup.
The maximum number of Group Call Pickup groups per member/user: 10 groups per member.
Expected Busy Hour Call Rate for 1 Group Call Pickup group: 150 calls/hour.
The maximum number of Group Call Pickup groups per account: 500 groups per account.
Limitations
The following calls cannot be used with this feature:
Forwarded calls via any forwarding methods (i.e., forwarded to other user's phones, forwarded via custom rule, forwarded via phone, etc.)
BCA extension calls
Call queue calls
Shared Line calls
Intercom calls
Paging calls
