Answer
A Message-Only Extension is a special extension that routes all calls received to its voicemail box. The messages deposited on a Message-Only Extension can be retrieved / played by dialing into the Message-Only Extension. A Message-Only Extension also has the ability to send email notifications with the actual Voice Message as an attachment.
Using Avaya Cloud Office Phone or Applications
- Call the Message-Only Extension Number
- Press the star key (*)
- Enter the voicemail PIN followed by the hash sign (#) once prompted
- Listen to the prompt for instructions or press One (1) to listen to your messages
Using Non-Avaya Cloud Office Phone (e.g., Mobile / Cell Phone)
- Call your Avaya Cloud Office Company Main phone number, enter the Message-Only Extension Number as soon as you hear the ring
- Press the star key (*)
- Enter the voicemail PIN followed by the hash sign (#) once prompted
- Listen to the prompt for instructions or press One (1) to listen to your messages
Using Web Browser or Service Web
- Go to https://service.cloudoffice.avaya.com/
- Enter the Company Main phone number
- Enter your Message-Only Extension number in the field provided
- Enter your password, then click Sign In
- Click Messages
- Go to the Inbox, then play the voicemail that needs to be checked
