Avaya Cloud Office: How to check / retrieve Voice Messages received on Message-Only Extension

Answer

A Message-Only Extension is a special extension that routes all calls received to its voicemail box. The messages deposited on a Message-Only Extension can be retrieved / played by dialing into the Message-Only Extension. A Message-Only Extension also has the ability to send email notifications with the actual Voice Message as an attachment.


Using Avaya Cloud Office Phone or Applications
  1. Call the Message-Only Extension Number
  2. Press the star key (*)
  3. Enter the voicemail PIN followed by the hash sign (#) once prompted
  4. Listen to the prompt for instructions or press One (1) to listen to your messages

Using Non-Avaya Cloud Office Phone (e.g., Mobile / Cell Phone)
  1. Call your Avaya Cloud Office Company Main phone number, enter the Message-Only Extension Number as soon as you hear the ring
  2. Press the star key (*)
  3. Enter the voicemail PIN followed by the hash sign (#) once prompted
  4. Listen to the prompt for instructions or press One (1) to listen to your messages

Using Web Browser or Service Web
  1. Go to https://service.cloudoffice.avaya.com/   
  2. Enter the Company Main phone number
  3. Enter your Message-Only Extension number in the field provided
  4. Enter your password, then click Sign In
  5. Click Messages
  6. Go to the Inbox, then play the voicemail that needs to be checked
