IC 7.2.3.3
Unable to login to webservices.
IC 7.2.3.3 on Windows 2008 R2 with SDK, when logged in with account configured for webservices, it gave an error authentication error.

Problem Clarification

The web application connects to this server via URL http://10.65.0.11:9800/webservices/services/AicAgentAdmin

With login/password: testarm/testarm01

And we get an error:
Authentication failed - javax.security.auth.login.FailedLoginException: Authentication failed: bad user/password[testarm]

This login is not expired and we also tried many other logins, but got the same error.

Cause

The vespidl.pk file in the <Avaya_IC72_home> /etc folder is not the update one and does not have the "DS_Authenticate/void loginid/string password/string out:list/*SeqSeqCouple" entry, because of which the DS.authenicate requested was not going to DS server.

Solution

Copy the updated vespidl.pk at both i.e. web services & DS / IC Servers and both the servers should be restarted and restart the webservices from windows services ,

Also make sure that the vespidl.pk and vesp.imp is synchronized on all the machines
