Problem Clarification

After upgrading from JDM version 6.2.1.4 to 6.2.1.7. JDM is no longer able to manage ERS devices other than ERS 8300 running up to software 4.2.3.7.

Cause

Product is functioning as designed.

Solution

JDM version 6.2.1.7 is only supported for ERS 8300 running up to 4.2.3.7. The latest JDM version for all other ERS devices is 6.2.1.4.

Note: JDM, a former Nortel product, is no longer supported on ERS products running the most recent software images. Enterprise Device Manager (EDM) should be used for ERS devices running the latest software images. Please refer to the appropriate ERS release notes.
