Problem Clarification

Can't ping CLAN from CMS

Tried different methods from either CM and CMS side but ACD link is still down

Cause

CLAN in "disconnected" status

Spi.err log showed one of the agent log in more than 100 skillset which have caused the link go down.

This is known issue for earlier CMS R17 vesions, has been fixed in the CMS R17 R3. For agents with more than 100 skills login will cause ACD link down and core file generated

Note: SESS ST8camack timer expired, link is not responding... is an indication of a network outage or delays on the network.

Solution

User reseated CLAN

Reset the link

Customer was provided the details on a possible network issue and seems was fixed by them

the CMS disk full error, after remove the large core files, the disk full error is gone, but the CMS link still down, we have reboot the CMS twice but the issue not resolved.
