Polycom camera has developed a very high pitched noise.

Problem Clarification

System produces high pitched noise coming from powered subwoofer

Cause

Customer was advised to disconnect all components and test if noise is coming from:
1. Powers supply
2. VSX7000 unit
3. Power Subwoofer
User had observed that after all connections were reestablished there is no more evidence of high pitched noise.
Conclusion: bad connection between Power Subwoofer and VSX7000 was cause of noise.

Solution

Disconnect and reconnect all components of VSX7000
