Problem Clarification

After network outage, background noise / distortion heard on 50% of calls. Both internal and external.

G450 Gateways had recovered back to CM when network issue resolved but one had an issue with distorted calls.

Cause

One of the DSP daughter boards in the gateway. This particular gateway had 3x MP80

Solution

'Campon Busy' the voip-dsp and reset gateway.

You could just reset the individual voip module but as all DSPs were busy, and no calls on the gateway, we went for a full reset. It depends on the customer.
