Ringing on wireless headset
Release H.323 6.2 Service Pack 2 supports administrator setting of ringing on wireless headsets from Jabra and Plantronics. Using this feature, you can enable ringing on the wireless headset in addition to the speaker. The ringing tone on the speaker may be turned off using the AUDASYS parameter.
Note:
By default, this feature is set to 1 and is enabled. For deskphones that are used without wireless headset with the bidirectional interface support this feature must be turned off.
To disable this feature, SET HEADSETBIDIR=0 in the 46xxsettings.txt file.

When the base unit is powered on, either one of the following scenarios might occur:
• When the user goes off-hook with the headset or change from a non-headset device to the headset, the wireless headset is activated.
• When the user goes on-hook on the deskphone with an activated headset or change from wireless headset device to non-headset, the wireless headset is deactivated.

Solution

Turn-off / disable HEADSETBIDIR feature in 46xxsettings.txt file or use wireless headsets.
