Verify the refresh time of BCMS realtime report. can the value editable or not?
Customer claimed that their BCMR wall board reporting refresh slow, later they found out it is refreshing every 10 seconds.

Problem Clarification

Customer want to find out if they can adjust the refresh rate for BCMR reporting, especially for wallboard

Cause

BCMR retrieve the data from CM at fixed interval.

The default refresh rate for Real-Time Graphs update as fast as every ten seconds. Real-Time Pie Charts update as fast as every ten seconds.

10 seconds is the ideal refresh rate which can be seen when BCMRD is running in Simulation mode or even where BCMRD server and client are running on the same machine), but in practical this will vary from 10 seconds to more seconds depending on the data BCMRD is fetching and the network speed.

This refresh rate will also affect in scenarios where the BCMRD client and BCMRD server are installed on different machines (remote server/client scenario).

Solution

This is fixed, there is no place we can change this refresh rate. So please expect 10 seconds as the fastest for BCMR real time report.
